We also need supplies, equipment and perishable relief items.

Central Alabama Disaster Relief has two categories of goods that we need: consumables and non-consumables. Consumables include those items you might expect such as food, water, clothing, medical supplies and more. If you would be willing to be added to our consumables list, we will contact you when these items are needed, usually following a disaster.

Another item that you might not think of, is temporary housing. We work with displaced persons who sometimes need a place to stay until they can return to their house/property. This would not be longer than a couple of days. Our primary plan is a hotel room or church, but it is good to have options. If you would like to be put on a list for "emergency lodging" please let us know.

The second type is non consumables, these include items we work with, that allow us to help in a moments notice. These include tractors, skid steers, chain saws, medical supplies, tarps, trailers, generators, axes, safety gear (helmets, chainsaw chaps, etc.) and more. If you have any of these items you would be willing to let go of, or any other items for that matter, please reach out to me at info@cadrelief.org. I will respond quickly. All of your donations are tax deductible.
